Recipe & Instructions

How to Make Sprouted Pearl Millet Roti / Flat Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup DelishWithLove Sprouted Pearl Millet Flour
  • ½ cup water (adjust as you needed)
  • ¼ cup of whole wheat flour (optional for binding)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Ghee or oil for cooking.

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the Sprouted Pearl Millet flour, Wheat flour (optional) and salt.
  2. Slowly add water while kneading the dough until it forms a soft, pliable texture.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into balls.
  4. Dust with some dry flour and roll each ball into a flat, round shape.
  5. Heat a tawa or flat pan, and cook the roti on medium heat, flipping sides until golden brown spots appear.
  6. Brush with ghee or oil before serving hot with curry, chutney or yogurt.
